THE BAND
Free Soil plays music tapped from trap rock of the Sourland Mountains. Its members have performed with artists including Ween, Rana, Moe Tucker Band, David Grisman, Mike Gordon, Paul Muldoon’s Rogue Oliphant, and Chris Harford and the Band of Changes.

Free Soil has performed at venues and events throughout central New Jersey and southeastern PA, including Hopewell Fare, Small World Coffee, Unionville Vineyards, Terhune Orchards, Stony Brook Watershed, Raritan Headways Shedfest, Starving Artist Café, Hopewell Social Club/Tour D' Arts, and war3house.
